I get a small window that adobe flash player initialization error mac says "Installation will begin shortly." About 5 minutes later I'll get an error message that says "Application Initialization Error." It was Norton that was causing most of the headaches including not being able to get on the internet after I got Adobe Flash 18 working. It still says that it needs to be started from Steam? Have you tried looking in the Maplestory installation folder and seeing if there's an exe file called NXSteam.exe? I think that's the Steam Launcher for the game.
