"Remove SEP from the equation" can be achieved at different levels: Disabling it, not loading it at all and removing it. I have tried the first 2 and the case is the same. Have no tried un-installing the program as I was able to make all XP PCs after dealing with firewall permissions and so on ad they are working fine.
