I had the same problem (HP Deskjet F4280, error code 1500:c0:3001) scanning documents with danish language to PDF and OCR language set to English. Changing OCR language to danish solved the problem. Then on "Scan To:" option, change to "Microsoft Word". Save shortcut as "Text to Word". There is even an icon option for this, and then save shortcut. Great sense of relief.From Big GL. Posted
