It will not allow a new install with it running. Also with newer Versions of F-Secure you may have to completely disable Deep Guard.If you have any problems with Alcohol and use Commodo Firewall such as the Internal Setup Error during the installation also after installation then make sure that you only choose Firewall in the settings not the firewall with optimal or maximum protection. Back to top #3 hbmsystems hbmsystems 1% Member Members 1 posts Posted 30 October 2010 - 12:28 PM I have exactly the same problem with version 2.0.1.2003 under Win 7 64-bit - I'm using Comodo Firewall v5.0.163652.1142, and have disabled everything (I even tried uninstalling Comodo Firewall to install Alcohol 120) - still shows the same installation error. It throws up the error just after the "Accept Terms" page. Any other ideas? Problem occured when i was using daemon tools single drive(was working at first), wanted to add addition drives, but no matter how i add there is no internal error 25001 drive letter assigned to the drives.(Added drives and rebooted) So i tried uninstalling, rebooted and reinstall. But no matter how many times i reboot and reinstall i get the same error. Event Viewer only shows this Product: DAEMON Tools -- Error 25001. Device setup error: code 25001 (0x61A9), 6 (0x6) .
