Rdc Internal Error
Join Now Using remote desktop to connect to a server, the RDP connection is using the server's public IP that's static. I'm able to connect to remote desktop connection an internal error has occurred windows 10 the remote server from other PC's with the same user account but this PC is getting the error: Remote Desktop Error: "An internal error has occurred." Computer is running Windows 7 x64 The network is using a VPN back to the main location where http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/remote-desktop-connection-an-internal-error-has/85e4a82e-b6d1-496e-84c1-eb421764b5cb the server is, and I'm able to ping devices on each network. One thing is that I can RDP to other severs outside of this network without issues, so to me it seems like an issue with the VPN even though it's online. Has anyone had this issue before? It was working fine a few days ago. Tried a system restore, restarted the network equipment etc. Reply Subscribe RELATED TOPICS: Remote Desktop Connection "An internal error has occurred" Remote Desktop Error Error using Remote Desktop   13 https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/1272466-remote-desktop-error-an-internal-error-has-occurred Replies Habanero OP Justin1250 Nov 3, 2015 at 5:38 UTC Run sfc /scannow make sure mstsc.exe isn't corrupted. Also what version of RDP client? And what version of RDS is the server running? 0 Habanero OP AceOfSpades Nov 3, 2015 at 5:49 UTC I'm not clear on something here. You say that you RDP to the Public IP of the server, but then mention VPN. Which is it, Public IP or VPN? 2 Pimiento OP ESW Tech Nov 3, 2015 at 5:57 UTC Running Remote Desktop Version: 6.3.9600 on the PC & server. No errors when running sfc /scannow 0 Habanero OP Justin1250 Nov 3, 2015 at 6:11 UTC Looking for the RDP version. Can your reset the VPN tunnel? Is it set to allow all traffic? Specifically TCP/UDP 3389, Are you using a RD Gateway? Is it set to bypass for local networks? 0 Pimiento OP ESW Tech Nov 3, 2015 at 6:21 UTC This is the version for both: 0 Pimiento OP ESW Tech Nov 3, 2015 at 6:38 UTC Update: I removed the PC from the domain and re-joined. After that RDP was working to the server again. Thanks for the help! 1 Datil OP Anil (Lepide) Nov 4, 2015 at 5:33 UTC Sounds good that you have resolved this weird issue. I haven't changed any settings that I know of. I've tried rebooting both machines, but still get the error message. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on
