"internal error GEDIT3" and the programme then asks me to close the drawing so that it can be recovered. On recovering the drawing, I carry on then after a short while the same thing happens again. Does anyone have a solution for this? it seems to be a form of crashing. Kyle Reese24-07-2010, 10:29 AMCheck out these links. Seems like you have a conflict somewhere. http://ltisacad.blogspot.com/2007/09/gedit-or-gedit-3-error-messages.html http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?tip=3640 Unfortunately, a search of AutoDesk's own website yielded no results for "GEDIT3" except for instances of problems reported by other users. Is your version of LT 2002 current with all service packs? When did the problem first occur? Did you make any recent software changes (ex. - antivirus program)? The only surefire solution I can think of is to upgrade to LT 2011. You are long overdue. charrowell24-07-2010, 08:12 PMCheck out these links. From what you say, I suspect it has been happening since installing Kaspersky anti virus, so I will check this out and will also check out whether it is current with all service packs. Kyle Reese26-07-2010, 10:17 AMCan you temporarily disable your anti-virus program? It might be worth testing AutoCAD with Kaspersky disabled to see what happens. charrowell27-07-2010, 05:59 AMYes I can do that and will see what happens. (Have not had a chance to try it yet as on a course this week). Many thanks for your help! Powered by vBulletin Version 4.2.2 Copyright © 2016 vBulletin Solutions, Inc. All rights reserved.
