Data1.cab Hi,I get this error while installing iTunes (ver 7). No matter what I do the error keeps popping up. I emailed SmartRegistry to ask them if it is a registry problem and they said their tool won't fix it (nice of them to say so).I do have McAfee and read somewhere that this app may be interfering somehow but I am not sure so I hesitate to uninstall.Any suggestions?Mark Windows XP Windows XP Posted on Dec 8, 2006 4:23 PM I have this question too Close Q: Internal Error 2356. I reviewed a few of these items... I did delete the temp directory and references to Apple and tried again.I do have the latest Windows installer (3.1 - KB893803).What I did find out is that my ASPI driver config is messed up and I do not know if this plays a role. I need some help please as Easy Media Creator 9, running on XP is starting to do weird things. A few weeks ago. I updated the MyPC Backup portion. This is also about the same time that some new Microsoft updates http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/27059-internal-error-2356-disk-1/ (that I also received) shut down Skype. At first, the windows installer kept trying to install something with the MyPC Backup. As I never use it, I went into Add/Remove and removed it.Now, the installer starts up, restarts, and eventually gives this error message:Roxio Media ExperienceInternal Error 2356.Disk 1I'm living overseas for a few months and my original CD is not with me.Also, some times, I can't open Easy Media Creator at all. Most of the time, it's fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ThanksP.S. When EMC wouldn't start, I tried restarting the computer. I got an error message that Roxio_Central33 was not responding. On restart, the installer kept trying to gather information and install something referring to Roxio Media Experience. I hope that's helpful. Thanks Edited by will615, 04 September 2007 - 04:37 PM.
