Internal Error 2602 Installshield
this to you? Average Rating 0 15605 views 02/03/2009 Software Deployment Windows Installer (MSI) Windows Installer (MSI) Error Messages I captured an installshield setup.exe into an msi using wise setupcapture. When I try to run this msi, I get the following error: Error 2602: The File table entry 'enterprisesec.config.cch2' has no associated entry in the Media table. MSI (s) (54:8C) [12:03:15:994]: Product: TotaleReceipts -- Internal Error 2602. File, enterprisesec.config.cch2 I checked the Media table and it is empty. I checked the wise source path for the file and it is correct. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem? I don't know if I need to populate the Media table with anything (and how to do this?) or what else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm using setupcapture to take the before/after snapshots (which results in mo media table entry). When I tried to use Wise Package Studio, the media table is populated with an entry so it seems there's something that setupcapture is not capturing. This is an installshield app so I might just go with the setup.iss answer file instead of trying to repackage already. The Media table will be populated in the compiled MSI, it will not exist in the project file (.WSI). Answered 03/02/2009 by: AngelD Please log in to comment Please log in to comment 0 I'm using the WiseCaptureSetup (standalone) tool that comes with DS. Basically this does snapshot only (no smart monitor, etc.) When I capture with WPS (I am using an evaluation copy as we are deciding whether or not to purchase) then the media table is populated (in the MSI). There is a known bug in the 1.5 version that it will not include the files from merge modules in the built msi.
