This of course is not an option because i tried it yesterday and it took it like 8 hours to finally tell me there is not enough free space on a 30GB free external drive to put an image compressed in HIGH that by itself it's just above 36GB? so... i need to image only the C: partition and not all the disk sector-by-sector. Ghost is a very good hard drive "cloning" (Clone) tool, it can in the shortest possible time to your hard drive data to the most powerful protection. Being at work, I have been using Ghost to backup and restore my system disk data, brought me a http://www.qqread.net/software/system-software/t220200.html very big convenience. Recently, however, when I in use Ghost8.0 to restore the system disk data, but there have been a problem. a failure phenomenon my operating system is Windows 2003 Server, hard drive Total C, D, E, http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=89251&st=120 F, four partitions, which, in addition to the E drive is a FAT32 partition outside, the rest are NTFS partition. I finished loading the operating system and various software applications, Ghost8.0 the partition to the mirror "command to internal inconsistency the system partition C drive to do an image file win2003sys.gho, and the image file stored on the E drive ( FAT32 format). Later, because of my temporary need to use the E drive, I put the image file copied to the D drive (NTFS format), and delete the image file on E drive. Recently, I re-restore the system image file, so the image file, I turned the D drive (NTFS format) on the re-copied to an internal inconsistency the E drive (FAT32 format) and then use the CD to boot the system into a DOS command prompt interface, running , select the image file on the E drive, the recovery of the image to the partition ghost8.0 do not want to restore the system to about 80%, Ghost8.0 8027 internal error prompt an error: An internal inconsistency has been detected .. If this problem persists, contact Symantec Technical Support at http://service.symantec.com mean: detected an internal inconsistency error, if the problem continues, please contact Symantec Technical Support Center contact Try to regain it twice, each to about 80%, this error appears. the Second, the solution I spent more than six years of Ghost, to Ghost8.0 from Ghost3.0 has been, and never encountered any problems, so I am the Ghost of stability and security has been convinced that this encounter such a mistake, I have no doubt that the problem of Ghost8.0 certain other aspects. I suddenly thought Ghost8.0 support for NTFS-formatted partitions, will not partition? I figured why not the D drive (NTFS format) image file on the recovery try it? A try, really did not appear the error and successfully restore the system. the Third, the failure analysis the emergence of the error, I think, when the image file copied back to the E drive (FAT32 format), image file copy error is high becaus
