This of course is not an option because i tried it yesterday and it took it like 8 hours to finally tell me there is not enough free space on a 30GB free external drive to put an image compressed in HIGH that by itself it's just above 36GB? so... i need to image only the C: partition and not all the disk sector-by-sector. If you can, try this to burn it. http://www.gearsoftware.com/GEAR-ISO-Burn.php Sorry, I thought you were having problems making the recovery disk. If you have burning software already, you could always make the image as smaller files that will fit on a CD or DVD and then burn them to disks. shiamak Regular Visitor3 Reg: 03-Mar-2010 Posts: 5 Solutions: 0 Kudos: 0 Kudos0 Re: Ghost 15 8027 error Posted: 09-Mar-2010 | 8:01AM • Permalink I think you still mis-understood what I am trying to achieve. In my company we use GHOST to create bootable and OS images (including some pre-installed softwares), I used first GHOST 15 to create couple of floppy disks as bootable then booted up my win7 into it, afterwords ran GHOST.exe

Google (and more importantly Symantec) are of little help.13 commentsDan Murray+121 ReplyFound something here (http://goo.gl/ZgTZc): Here Folks is the solution: These messages appear to be due to problem with how Ghost performs caching. To resolve the problem, use the WS and WD switches to turn off Ghost caching:Ghost.exe ws wd OR better try using all these switchesGhost.exe FNI -FFX -NOIDE -NOUSB -ws wd It has worked with me. It is a whole lot faster than across the network and the server can read the HDD a whole lot easier than DOS can.Add a comment...
