The Login Page is running fine, and also it's easily get login when I try to login. But after login when I try to access some others pages through click a button, it shows error 500 Internal Server Error. I have given security this application to the 500 internal server error php everyone level but still it is showing error. I am using database through DSN. I can not say that there is any DSN configuration error or mistake I did, because login page is working fine which gets user id and password from my database. Dec 11, 2010 09:04 AM|JBeardon|LINK Go into IIS manager. Select the site with this problem. Double click on ASP in the middle pane. Expand 'Debugging Properties'. Set 'Send Errors To Browser' to 'True'. Apply this setting and restart the site. These steps will remove the default script error message (if using IE you may also have to uncheck 'show friendly http errors' in Tools - Settings). You will then get a more descriptive error that should be of more help. Post the error and more help may be available. Solved Internal server 500 error in classic ASP / IIS7 Posted on 2012-07-11 Microsoft IIS Web Server MS SQL Server 2008 ASP 3 Verified Solutions 5 Comments 1,460 Views Last Modified: 2013-03-21 Hi experts, I have recently inherited support of a classic ASP (VBScript) application and migrated it to IIS7. The application runs but I am getting an internal server 500 error on a particular page. I have disabled "friendly http error messages" at client side, and in IIS ASP, set “Send errors to browser”, but am still getting no more detailed error than “Internal Server 500”. Can anyone shed light on how at least I can get more info on the error? I do not have everyday access to the application in question so answers will need to be theoretical at least for the time being. Are there any good tutorials / links for debugging VBScript under IIS7? Thanks for reading. By default this is not installed. http://geekswithblogs.net/dlussier/archive/2007/08/12/114603.aspx If it is not that then look for errors in the iis logs. classic asp has the error code in there. 0 LVL 3 Overall: Level 3 Message Active 1 day ago Author Comment by:colinspurs2012-07-11 Wow!
