web browser via URL like http://www.yourdomain.com/dump/bigdump.php. Now you can select the file to be imported from the listing of your working directory. Click "Start import" to start. BigDump will start every next import session https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2154187 automatically if JavaScript is enabled in your browser. Relax and wait for the script to finish. Do NOT close the browser window! IMPORTANT: Remove bigdump.php and your dump files from your web server. Advanced notes Note 1: BigDump will fail processing large tables containing extended inserts. An extended insert contains all table entries within one SQL query. BigDump isn't able to split such SQL queries. In most http://www.ozerov.de/bigdump/usage/ cases BigDump will stop if some query includes to many lines. But if PHP complains that allowed memory size exhausted or MySQL server has gone away your dump probably also contains extended inserts. Please turn off extended inserts when exporting database from phpMyAdmin. If you only have a dump file with extended inserts please ask for our support service in order to convert it into a file usable by BigDump. Note 2: If you want to upload the dump files via web browser give the scripts writing permissions on the working directory (e.g. make chmod 777 on a Linux based system). You can upload the dump files from the browser up to the size limit set by the current PHP configuration of the web server. Alternatively you can upload any files via FTP. Some web servers disallow script execution in the directory with writing permissions for security reasons. If you changed the permissions on the working directory and you are getting a server error when running the script restore the permissions to their normal state (chmod 755) for directories. Note 3: If Timeout errors still occur you may need to adjust the $linespersession setting in bigdump.php. Note 4:

I've uploaded all the 7.5 files into the proper directories on Y. On X I've dumped my phpnuke DB into dbbackup.sql. I've created a new DB on Y with internal server error the same configuration as the one on X. When attempting to add the tables from dbbackup.sql into the new DB on Y using phpAdmin, it gives me the following error after a few minutes: Code: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. [edit] Included code in code tags. This can happen if your SQL backup file is too long (say, a few MB). In this case, you may have to resort to the command-line to get it through. Have a customer who has a PHP script that's importing a large .txt file to MySQL. Have always worked very well but now is the file over 250MB with a lot of rows. Exactly after the script have runned for 4 minutes it just stops and generates a 500 Internal Server Error in the users web browser. The SQL is then around 220MB and has about 280 000 rows. I have tried to maximize all limits in php.ini and also the time out in Apache Configuration in WHM but nothing helps. Am I missing something? Appreciate all advice I can get. I can not help the customer any further... #1 imniclas, Jun 15, 2012 markhard Well-Known Member Joined: Apr 22, 2004 Messages: 250 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 16 restore the SQL dump from SSH, faster and have no problem with php/http timeout HalfDedi.com : Half Dedicated Half Price We Provide Affordable VPS hosting solution in Singapore #2 markhard, Jun 17, 2012 (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
