Discussion in 'Plesk 9.x for Linux Issues, Fixes, How-To' started by PaddingtonC, Jul 2, 2012. PaddingtonC Kilo Poster Messages: 49 My Plesk 9.5.4 control panel http://forum.odin.com/threads/plesk-control-panel-displays-500-internal-server-error.260794/ running on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS the error " 500 - Internal Server Error" when I try to view it in a browser. The websites on the server are working but its just an issue of going to the control panel. How can I resolve this? PaddingtonC, Jul 2, 2012 #1 Hostasaurus.Com Tera Poster Messages: 436 Reboot the server, or preferably just restart the Plesk web server internal server software 'sw-cp-server' and 'psa' services. I'm not familiar with Ubuntu but on RHEL you'd: /etc/rc.d/init.d/sw-cp-server stop /etc/rc.d/init.d/psa stop /etc/rc.d/init.d/psa start which will bring back up both of them. We see this regularly on 9.5.4 where Plesk just random starts giving 500 errors. I'm sure Parallels will just tell you to upgrade to 11 to fix the issue.
