A shame, because I really like the look of IE 9, and especially the feature where you can separate tabs to view side by side on the screen. But I internet explorer absolutely could not print any page at all from the web. Print preview was fine, printer software comes up, wait 10 seconds, then Script Error, Error 2107. I have seen many, many posts about this same error, but the suggested fixes never work and I tried every single one of them. Is this a known error with IE 9, or do we need to wait for new drivers? I am using: Win 7 32 bit HP Officejet 6500n print from internet wireless all in one printer Thanks! tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #1 Sponsor Phantom010 Trusted Advisor Joined: Mar 9, 2009 Messages: 34,572 Open IE. Click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Click to select the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes, and then click to clear the Display a notification about every script error check box. By default, IE has the opposite settings for script debugging. Upgrading to IE9 may be resetting them to default. I'll let you know! tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #3 tgrover54 Thread Starter Joined: Jul 28, 2010 Messages: 158 Nope. Too bad, because I really like IE 9. The box that pops up says, An Error Has Occurred in the Script on this Page. Line: 2107 Char: 1 Error: There is no connection for this connection ID Code: 0 res://ieframe.dll/preview.js Any other ideas? Sure would like to be able to use this. tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #4 tgrover54 Thread Starter Joined: Jul 28, 2010 Messages: 158 Well, I have tried everything. My Trend Titanium is set to not interfere with scripts. I put back notify about script e
Error Can't Print in IE or Livemail Discussion in 'Software' started by ugavirules, Jun 5, 2011. ugavirules Private E-2 Hi, I hope I'm posting in the correct place, if not please advise where I should post. I have a Dell Studio desktop PC running windows 7, IE9 and using windows live mail, awhile back and I can't be sure exactly when this began but I was using IE8 and had the same problems so downloaded 9 hoping for a 'fix'. I have checked and all of my windows updates are current. I use AVAST antivirus.... not sure what all I need to include about my system. If you need more info please ask. The problem is whenever I try to print from IE or windows live I receive this error message and it will not print no matter what I do. An error has occured with the script on this page Line 1527 Char 1 Error Invalid argument URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js I've looked all over the web and have had no success in correcting this problem, am hoping someone here might know of a solution. Thanks!
