I read that this works usually out of the box with Ubuntu 11.10? What can I do to fix this? I recompiled the kernel recently. Even after recompiling the kernel, I was able to load modules using modprobe device_name. For example, modprobe rtlwifi. But today I did some driver installations (wlcore,wlcore_sdio,wl18xx) and now when I type modprobe rtlwifi, I get the error, FATAL: Error inserting rtlwifi (/lib/modules/3.12.0/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/rtlwifi/rtlwifi.ko): Invalid argument Same error while trying to insert error inserting iwl3945 other modules which were working before.
