But for last few months I have problems with the application loader. When I click on the send button in the Application loader it shows Authenticating with iTunes Store. This authentication step takes around 5 minutes. After that it shows communicating with iTunes Store for around 10-15 mins and then throws up a communication error: Communication Error. Please use diagnostic mode to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8177425/very-slow-app-upload-communication-failure-application-loader check connectivity. You need to have outbound access to TCP Port 443. An exception has occurred:Operation timed out. Could not connect to Apple's web service. An error occurred while connecting to the transport host https://itmsdav.apple.com: Operation timed out. Could not start delivery: all transports failed diagnostics. I tried googling and many told me there will be firewall/Java issues. I checked that. There is no firewall turned on or any issues with other Java Application. Its just the problem with my Application loader. I tried uploading the application from my college, and it works there perfectly. But at my home it throws this error always. The only difference is that In my college I just plug in my ethernet cable and access Internet and at my home its like a ADSL Modem which needs a PPP connection established. I also found out that the Application loader sends out UDP packets. Will the problem be in my ADSL Modem? Does anybody have similar problems? application-loader share|improve this question edited May 7 '14 at 6:51 Lebyrt 1,3621517 asked Nov 18 '11 at 3:33 Geo Paul 1,01911840 yes i have similar problem.and dont know how to solve it. –Dilip Feb 27 '13 at 6:21 I stuck at authenticating with

This will use port 443 (aka HTTPS) for uploading. There is no way the company will open those ports for me ;p share|improve this answer edited May 13 '13 at 14:26 answered May 13 '13 at 4:44 leppie 83.6k13145253 If it works, surely this is a great tips. thanks. –karim May 13 '13 at 11:23 As long as you have your web proxy configured, this works. connect to App Store, iTunes or the Game Center. A ‘Cannot Connect to iTunes Store‘ error shows up when you try to open iTunes. While most of the time this is due to internet issues or if you're trying to access the App Store when it's being updated, you can try to fix the problem on your iPhone/iPad too through the steps outlined below. #1: Disable/Enable iTunes Parental Controls: This method has worked like a charm for many iOS users. We were so skeptical about this solutions but it help many readers to connect to iTunes store. Here you go: Launch iTunes → Go to Preferences from top menu. Go to Parental Control tab → Disable access to iTunes Store and allow access to iTunes U Now quite iTunes. Re-launch iTunes and if it sends you directly to iTunes U without any problem, then go back to Parental Control and enable access to iTunes Store. Quite iTunes and open it again. You should now connect to the iTunes Store without any problem. #2: Check Your Internet Connctivity: Make sure you are in range of WI-FI router or base station. Must ensure that the devices such as PC are able to connect to WI-FI. And more importantly, they are able to access internet. Try resetting WI-FI router again--Simply turn it off and then turn it on. If it is still not done, then you should try to troubleshoot WI-FI network and connections. #3: Restart Network / Switch Wifi-3G: One of the simplest reasons why your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch cannot connect to App Store is because of a network issue. If the Wi-fi signal is weak, there's a strong chance iTunes store won't open. One way of finding out is to turn off your network and restart it. Switch to 3G Exit App Store/iTunes app (from the multi-tasking switcher) Open iTunes/App Store again. If you are on 3G and this doesn't fix, you might have to switch to Wi-fi and check it out.
