Alternatively, about 30% of the time, I get a message that says the store is too busy, but I've been getting that for weeks now, so I'm not inclined to believe it! The worst part is if I buy a song or album, I get the -206 error and am unable to download the songs, but I still bought them. I need to log in as another user or go to another machine to get the tunes. I've deleted just about every pref I can find for iTunes and nothing seems to help. Anyone else ever bump into this? 10-11-2004, 11:

I got a new computer this week and I'm trying to download the songs I purchased but I keep getting this message: Quote: Could not purchase "*song title*". An unknown http://forums.ilounge.com/itunes-related-mac-pc-applications/50181-itunes-error-206-a.html error occurred (-206). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later. I got this on my old computer once and after a while it just stopped showing that error. I've been getting message for days already and I don't know what to do. I've searched on Google about it and tons of people got it also but there simply is no solution. 11/20/2013, 8:52 PM Profile | Posts | Threads Can't Report | Can't http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=463752 Reply Sponsored Links posh Banned Member Member Since: 3/15/2013 Posts: 30,219 Post #2 http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ iTunes Store support will fix it for you. 11/20/2013, 9:06 PM Profile | Posts | Threads Can't Report | Can't Reply Previous Thread | Next Thread Actions for this Thread Share via Twitter Share via Facebook Print this Thread Posting Rules You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts BB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is On HTML code is Off Forum Rules Join ATRL | Sign In 10/19/2016, 3:35 AM ATRL Forums | Music News | Charts | Videos | Celebria | Base | The Lounge | Blogs | Your Top Ten | Games Search | Find Threads or Posts | Find Members | Latest | Currently Active Threads | Who's Online Now Help | Contact Us | Privacy | Terms of Use | Rules | DMCA | -- ATRL Main ---- Ice Cold ---- Marine ---- Fire ---- Dignity ---- Hot Pink ---- Grayscale ---- Code Red ------ Ocean ------ Submarine ------ LiveWire ------ Twilight ------ Console ---- ATRL Mobile Copyright © 1999-2016, ATRL. when searching, http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/google-android/how-fix-androids-insufficient-storage-available-error-message-summary-cache-3623467/ tried reinstalling, rebooting, nothing. Turned off my firewall and it works... My OS is Windows Vista but use my internet provider's security program's firewall, I think they itunes store use McAfee... I just let it go through once, restarted my firewall and everything seems fine, even with my firewall up now... Comments jim_j Posts: 1member May 2009 I had the same error when using itunes store error the Internet through a Proxy. "Help > Network diagnostics" reported no errors but I got the (-206) error when trying to search or play from the iTunes Store.I eventually found the problem by disabling anonymous proxying so that the proxy would pass all header through. Before that the proxy would only pass Host, Authorization and Cookie headers. I suspect that there are specific Apple headers that need to be passed through the proxy server otherwise iTunes won't work properly. Cheers Jim J Sign In or Register to comment.
