Save game issue Started by Kai927 , Oct 06 2010 05:43 AM Please log in to reply 5 replies to this topic #1 Kai927 Posted 06 October 2010 - 05:43 AM Kai927 Members 2 posts I just got Jade Empire Special Edition, and encountered a problem after installing it. At the start of the game, when you are supposed to go into Two Rivers to get your weapon from Gujin, the game exits out to the main menu when I click on the gate to go into town from the school. I then get a message saying that it failed to load the save game. I tried saving before going to town, only for it to do the same thing and delete my save file. What can I do to fix this? Part way through saving it just stops and returns me to the game. Any idea why it is doing this and how would I fix it? Back to top #3 Guest_Nyoka_* Posted 07 October 2010 - 05:21 PM Guest_Nyoka_* Guests Vista users used to experience problems saving and loading because of some permissions stuff. Same probably goes for W7. Have you checked what happens running the game as administrator? You should also try the compatibility "Windows XP SP3" mode. Edited by Nyoka, 07 October 2010 - 05:26 PM.
