Now I have updated to kernel kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908) fedora 22 3.4.3-1.fc17.x86_64 virtualbox shows this error when running a ubuntu VM: Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu. The virtual machine 'Ubuntu' kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908) fedora 24 has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1. Detail: Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Component: Machine Interface: IMachine {5eaa9319-62fc-4b0a-843c-0cb1940f8a91} There is a second error message: Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908) The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is probably not loaded. need to restart the computer for the driver to load. Alternatively, you may attempt to load the driver by issuing the following command with system administrator (root) privileges: '/etc/sysconfig/modules/VirtualBox-OSE.modules' I looked at /etc/sysconfig/modules/VirtualBox-OSE.modules and it doesn't exists. There is another similar file: /etc/sysconfig/modules/VirtualBox.modules. I ran this, but it shows: ERROR: Module vboxdrv not found. ERROR: Module vboxnetflt not found. ERROR: Module vboxnetadp not found. Can anyone help?
