Yesterday I mistakenly purchased a 4 gb SDHC card and put it into the camera, which of course it doesn't support. I exchanged it for a regular 2 gb SD card and now I get an error message "Memory card is full." I haven't used it yet - no pictures. When I tried to format the card I got http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Memory-Cards-standard/SD-Card-won-t-work-in-Kodak-Camera/td-p/199174 this error message "FILESYS error e001000." The strange thing is, the new card will work in my Kodak CX4200 camera just fine. No matter what card I put into the C330, I have the same trouble and, as I said, it used to run on a picture card before the 4 gb SDHC. Have I ruined my camera by putting the 4 gb SDHC card into it? I might also mention that the SD card is recognized on my card reader and my printer, beside my CX4200. Solved! Go to Solution. I have seen this happen on a friends camera Kodak Easyshare C310, where the 2GB SD card worked before and then just gave an error "card is full". We did try a newly opened card 2GB SD as well, with the same issue. What bothers us is that the 1GB still works and the other 2 cards works on a computer. It doesn't seem

I'm not an expert on digital cameras but wondered why you wanted to reformat the card? I have a digital camera (fujifilm e550) and have never had to reformat the card. I did a quick google search and came up with a few answers. One of the search results is quoted and linked below. Doesn't sound like good news. You may have a damaged card installed in the camera. Either try another card, or try to reformat the card. If you have an external card reader (external to your PC) then try to put the card into that device and see if your computer can recognize the card --> if you have images on there, you may be able to recover them. Member Messages: 642 i recently bought a new 2gb Viking Interworkd SD crd from Amazon. I put it in my Kodak easyshare c310 and it reads that the card is full and needs formatting, so i select format and it says "filesys error e00100" however the card works fine with my PC and printer. so is there any way to get around this issue or do i need to buy a new card? bluedishwasher, Aug 22, 2006 #1 computerhakk VIP Member Messages: 3,626 Your model seems like an older model and maybe it does not support the 2gb SD card. I tried searching for clues to what it may support, but to no avail, wasn't able to find anything. I did notice that someone commented that they used a 512mb and it worked. I also looked at their site and they listed from 16mb to 512mb also, so 512mb may be the most it supports. Try reading your manual/user guide to see if it indicates anything. You can also try contacting Kodak. computerhakk, Aug 22, 2006 #2 MONKEY BOY New Member Messages: 149 company dont like u using other cards from other companys eg i can put a olimpus into a fuji but i cant put fuji into olimpus i cant spell but u get the picture it all depends on the company so yeah kodak might only take kodak cards just a thought MONKEY BOY, Aug 22, 2006 #3 DCIScouts VIP Member Messages: 6,916 No, Kodak will take lots of other cards. Where I work we sell Kodak cameras and don't sell Kodak cards. The C310 model I believe can only support up to a 1GB card because the camera is about a year and a half old model, while the 2GB cards have only come out in the last 6 months or so... Sorry, man. DCIScouts, Aug 22, 2006 #4 bluedishwasher New Member Messages: 642 ah thanks for that. i will be sure to buy a replacement card. thanks bluedishwasher, Aug 22, 2006 #5 tthomas New Member Messages: 1 I have the same problem with a kodak c310 camera and a kingston sd card.
