We are able to print from all the other trays just not the MP tray. When you print from that tray it is clipping an inch and a half off of all 4 sides. I don't have access to a list of error codes for this printer but I was wondering if someone could tell me what this error code is and if possible where I can get a copy of all the error codes as I am now responsible for maintaining this printer. Let me explain: The most likely cause is a poorly adjusted door interlock switch. The second most likely cause is the wrong drum type has been installed. The third most likely cause is a blown cleaning lamp. The problem with the MP tray is totally unrelated. Most likely, the MP tray media size has been mis-programmed to another paper size. You want the size detection set to Auto, and the guides to touch the sides of the page. There is a simulation to calibrate the guides, but it doesn't need to be done very often. Error C-5300 can be caused by a faulty drum unit but sometimes can be the result of poor contact in one of the door switches. Check both the front door and left door switches, making sure sure that both actuate fully when the door is closed. The actuator flag on these switches can become bent and cause poor contact. Carefully bend this flag out to ensure proper actuation. Posted

If thast doesn't work you will have to reset or display the admin password in service mode. To enter service mode hit the ststus button and then type 10871087. Scroll through the menu with the * and # keys. If you make changes in service mode and do not know what you are doing you can cause the copier to permanently fail. AP error code AP = Adding Powder (toner) it's not an error it's adding toner from the container into the developer unit while displaying AP. when there is enough toner in the container the AP will disappear and copies can be made when there is not enough toner in the container the toner empty light will come on.
