Kyocera Fs 4000dn Service Manual
7410: 0080226 I've got an error message on our Kyocera Printer Call for service 7410: 0080226. Apparently 7410 indicates an error with the drum unit and the rest is a page count. My question is do I need a new drum unit (and is that the problem) or can I just remove and reinsert the existing drum to clear the error? Check where the waste toner bottle is, and if it's like the FS2000, the drum unit can be pushed back in from where the bottle attaches to it. Error should then go when you close the lid back down. It's not cheap so consider if it's worthwhile as it may not fix it and something else may break soon. it is not mentioned in there. the printer has had a hard life and is full of dust, every where, I have clean all http://fixyourownprinter.com/posts/65528 that out with and airline but still ahve the error.Any ideas what it http://www.fixya.com/support/t4563124-kyocera_fs_3900dn_showing_7410_0024216 is exactly? 6000 series errors seem to be fuser related but I have seen another post on the internet sayinbg they changed the fuser and still ahd the error.I have tried a firmnware re-load for completeness, and different drum, developer/toner too.Any help appreciated.Thanks,Rob Respond to this 1 This problem is caused kyocera fs by a poor contact in the fuser connector terminals.Check both sides of the connection (in the printer and fuser unit) In most cases we will find small pieces of paper inside printer connector causing poor contact between printer and fuser unit connector.PD: sorry for my poor english. by unknown on Apr 12, 2010 at 8:19pm Add comment Please sign in to comment I kyocera fs 4000dn had a printer that was showing this error, so called out our service engineer. He diagnosed that a thermister had failed in the fuser unit and attempted to fix the problem...only for it to re-occur 2 days later.I found this thread, checked the terminals on the fuser unit, removed the scrap of paper lodged inside that the engineer had missed, and now it works fine! So thanks for pointing me in the right direction! - jms101 0 Same issue here - a very small piece of paper was in the fuser connector was causing the error. The 7410 is a drum installation error code. This is typically caused when the waste bin is replaced. Open the left door and push on the drum unit just above the waste bin, usualy a click will be heard when pushing it in. Then power cycle the printer. This should fix the error message.
