Kyocera Km 1635 C6000 Error
0 Dislikes (Received) 0 Rep Power 18 KM 1820 c6000 error I usually work on Sharp and HP but we have this 1820 in the field is there a service code or simulation to reset this code? Im told its a fuser error and I need to try resetting it first then probably replace? Select 'Maintenance mode', then press 'enter'. Enter '163' using the up/down keys, then press 'enter'. Turn machine off to exit Maintenance mode. C6000 indicates fuser did not come up to temp in the allotted time; you 'may' have a bad heater lamp if code reappears. Good luck......... Following both ottoman23 and KyoDoc 's suggestions, plus an extra scroll down after the last enter to "activate", then "enter", then turn off etc. Now all OK. Low level error codes can be reset by restarting the machine but higher risk level codes (C6000, C6020, C6030, C6050, C6100, C6200, C6300 etc) need to be reset by pressing some keys in a particular sequence. Before we go into the detail of reset procedure, let have a look at the root cause of these errors. Causes: 1. Unstable power source 2. Low/High voltage 3. Broken thermistor wire 4. Poor contact in the thermistor connector terminals. 5. Heater lamps are broken or not installed correctly. Before resetting "6XXX" series code, make sure that defective parts have been replaced/repaired. Reset Procedure: Enter 1087-1087 (1087 twice) from the keypad. Enter 163 by using keypad.
