This is the ID created while creating the tree. While binding this way, using an LDAP browser, the following error occured: "LDAP error 13: Confidentiality Required." A:Turn on the "Allow Clear Text Password" or uncheck the "Require TLS for simple binds with password" box on the LDAP Group object in ConsoleOne. Also, bind over port 636 instead of port 389. I can use a ldap browser and see ldap so I know it is up. I have setup my ldap server and then on the POA's security settings told it use ldap authentication.
