Mathcad A436 Symptom: Launching Mathcad yields the FLEXlm error "User/host not on INCLUDE list for feature -39" Cause 1: Incorrect host name in the mathsoft.opt file Solution 1: Correct the host name in the mathsoft.opt file. For example, the host name is case-sensitive and must exactly match how the host name reads on the computer. Cause 2: Due to an error in the original configuration, the registry key on the client to which the server name is written points to the client itself rather than to the license server. Solution 2: Manually change the registry key below so that "LicensePath" points to the license server: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MathSoft\FLEXlm] "LicensePath"="@thishost" where "thishost" is the server name.
