Lmgrd Is Not Running Cannot Connect To License Server System

Till today I open matlab of university cluster remotely from my PC without any problem. Today however, it was not possible to open matlab window from my PC with the following error message:License checkout failed. License Manager Error -15 MATLAB is unable to connect to the license server. After installing the software on a Linux (Debian 6 Squeeze) based system. We are encountring the following problem. When I start comsol it starts but generates an error in a window. After i close the error window COMSOL exits. License Error: -15 Cannot connect to license sewrver system. The license server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet, the wrong port@host or license file is being used, or the port or hostname in the license file has been changed.
