Ians said: ↑ It doesn't say it can't find the samplesClick to expand... can you load library samples from the sample tab OK? if you right click on the 'preset' you should be able to bring up what Maschine thinks its location in the filesystem is. Is it there? lethal_pizzle, Oct 10, 2012 #2 Ians NI Product Owner Messages: 33 Hi By 'preset' i mean any instruments in NI https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/maschine-1-8-1-error-when-loading-sample-libraries.178481/ libraries e.g. Abbey Road 60s drum kits, Retro Machine instruments. When I right click it takes me to the correct file path, so it's looking in the right place. All the instruments show in the browser, but won't load Thanks Ian --- By the way, all Machine expansions load ok Ians, Oct 10, 2012 #3 lethal_pizzle NI Product Owner Messages: 10,554 Have you run NI Kontakt etc in standalone before running Maschine? --- Can you load Kontakt inside Maschine (Shift + Browse)? If you can, what version number does it bring up when you then click on 'Kontakt'. lethal_pizzle, Oct 10, 2012 #4 Ians NI Product Owner Messages: 33 Hi, I think you may be right and it is to do with Kontakt not Maschine. It seems to be the libraries I have just updated which are powered by K5 and not K4 which is the one I own. Thanks for the help Ian Ians, Oct 10, 2012 #5 lethal_pizzle NI Product Owner Messages: 10,554 If you install the Kontakt 5 player you should be able to access them. lethal_pizzle, Oct 10, 2012 #6 Ians NI Product Owner Messages: 33 Problem solved I re-installed K5 player and it all works now in Maschine cheers Ians, Oct 10, 2012 #7 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.) A library loaded using ExecuteFile will persist as local scope (local to the action). Or, unless there is a need to NOT do so, you could associate the function library with the test and remove all the LoadFunctionLibrary calls. This is the way I've been doing it. share|improve this answer answered Jun 28 at 18:11 Trimble Epic 395119 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote You can't use OERN to catch compilation errors. The only fix is to not load/import the library twice. To experiment with: Option Explicit Dim sX ' Dim sX ' 38078712.vbs(4, 5) ... !compilation! error: Name redefined sX = "two to tango!" On Error Resume Next sX = Mid(sX, sX, sX) ' 37990815\vbs\38078712.vbs(8, 4) ... !runtime! error: Type mismatch: '[string: "two to tango!"]' WScript.Echo Err.Description On Error GoTo 0 share|improve this answer answered Jun 28 at 14:33 Ekkehard.Horner 30k11934 Thanks for your reply I am using the Library in action and then in the script, Is there any alternate method to do it or resolve this issue.. –vbhardwaj88 Jun 28 at 14:41 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using
