Computer Experience: Ane I've had that happen when the zip file was downloaded on Netscape but the same file would perform normally when downloaded with IE. Was it a self executing zip file (.exe) or normal (.zip)? I have heard that changing the extension name will bypass this problem but I don't have any particulars. Perhaps post this problem on the Netscape forum and hope for better results. Last edited: 2002/11/21 HP 540n 1.6 gig P4 256 MB DDR SDRAM - XP Homeless oem version - HDD's

If you have XP or Vista, right-click on the zip file and select 'Explore'. Try to open or drag the files into another folder. If you get an error, try the files one-by-one. If that doesn't work, it is corrupt -- try to get a new copy of the zip. Brett · 7 years ago 0 Th
