We are using windows 2008 R2 and on Master Version is 5.6.19 and on Slave it is 5.6.26 Things looked so far are as below: 1. This reconnection is due to the slave_timeout value which is set to 3600 seconds by default (1 hour). This is in place because there are cases where the master may go down and come back up but the slave isn't notified so it stays in waiting on the same connection. This timeout will cause a reconnection so that a new and working connection will be made.
