when trying to open documents on replica server Technote (troubleshooting) Problem When accessing a document from a Lotus Domino Document Manager Replica server, the following error occurs: 10:56:34 AM http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd8forum.nsf/DateAllFlatWeb/7e5834770dc76682852579a300393597?OpenDocument HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - File does not exist [/8625704C002175D1/(WebFindTOCUNID)? OpenAgent&BinderID=ADCCA5EC1E9DFD35862572A30057165B&BinderUNID=B8B3C19DD E124A0F8625774900702F14] Cause In at least one case, this problem was caused by having multiple Document Storage databases on the Master server yet replicas http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21438843 of the additional Document Storage databases were never created on the Replica servers. The documents that were being accessed happened to be stored in the additional Document Storage databases. Resolving the problem Creating replicas of all the Document Storage databases on the Replica servers resolved the problem. Answer In this particular case, the error occurred because the database did not have an "About database" document, and the launch options were set to open that document. The "About database" document can be found in the Other view in the list of design elements for the database. To change the launch options for the database, select File > Database > Properties, and go to the Launch tab.
