Thats why I put it under lotus notes error illegal circular use core email classes the Domino Server category. The simple Lotus Script is suppost to rename and then open a file that is on a shared folder on another windows computer as a mapped network drive. I always get the file not found error message from the agent. I have checked if I cant access the file directly from the computer and I can rename it and everything from the computer. But when I call
Lotus Notes Error 4000
the simple function Name "g:\dir1\file1" As "g:\dir1\file2" Then I get the file not found error. If I move the files to the c-drive I can use the "Name" function but not on the mapped drive. This worked before and for sometime when I was on my vacation. While I was testing this I made a new agent that was just suppost to rename an empty file that I created. While I was testing I somehow was able to get the test agent to work and rename a file on that mapped drive. I than ran the original agent and it failed because of one line that was commented and didnt even report an error over the file. But just after I ran that code the renaming process failed again and the test agent stop working again and I didnt change anything in the code. I have tried restarting everything including the server machine and nothing. Anybody have any idea what this can be? If you need more info about something please just ask. Thank you very much. not always) seen when trying to launch the tm1p.xla from a share lotus notes error log where it is hit by multiple users. Run-time error '53':File not found: tm1xl.ocx or Run-time error '53':File not found: tm1prc.dll Cause 1. The .dll/.ocx files are not registered. 2. Using 64-bit tm1p.xla http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/ReleaseAllThreadedweb/20bc5b23dc0692a185256d6a0050c27c?OpenDocument against 32-bit Microsoft Office Resolving the problem Log in to the client machine as an administrator and register the following files: tm1prc.dll tm1xl.ocx To do that, go to a command prompt and cd to the TM1 installation directory bin folder and issue the following command: Regsvr32.exe Tm1prc.dll Tm1xl.ocx NOTE: If using a Vista/Windows 7/Windows 2008 machine, make sure to run http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21461782 the command prompt by right-clicking and choosing Run as Administrator - even if logged in as an administrator. When the files are registered, log into Perspectives the first time as an administrator. If you first see the error as showing the tm1xl.ocx as the file not found and then register it without doing the tm1prc.dll, then you may see the same error stating that the tm1prc.dll is not found, so you will then need to register that one. So it is better to just go ahead and register them both at the same time. NOTE: According to our developers, TM1 is NOT designed to be run from a shared drive and even though you have been able to do it in the past by registering the tm1xl.ocx and tm1prc.dll as admin and then having the admin launch Perspectives for the first time, they can make no guarantee that this should/will work. The tm1p.xla is designed to be used on a single client machine. Making sure that the following Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable SP1 patch

After renaming it worked. –Knut Herrmann Mar 17 '15 at 11:56 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote Select the agent in Domino Designer and check the security tab of the Agent Properties box. Make sure that the Restricted Operations field is set to "Allow restricted operations" or "Allow restricted operations with full administration rights". See here. Also, make sure that the agent signer is granted unrestricted agent access on the Security tab of the Server Document for the server where the agent is running. See here. share|improve this answer answered May 22 '14 at 12:31 Richard Schwartz 9,45211232 Thanks Richard for your feedback. –user1525825 May 23 '14 at 15:17 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote You'll get a Path/file access error if the file doesn't exist, so check the spelling. You might also get the error if the file is not closed. share|improve this answer answered May 22 '14 at 13:32 Casper Skovgaard 1957 Thanks Casper for your hints. –user1525825 May 23 '14 at 15:18 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Path/file access error appears when you try do access the FileSystem.
