Back to top ↑ Resolution To re-create the MAPI profile on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, complete the following steps: Log in to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server using the service account.Stop the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services, and close the BlackBerry Manager if it is running.Open the Registry Editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\.Right-click the Profiles folder, then click Export. Give the backup file a name and then save.Delete the Profiles folder.Close the Registry Editor.Create a new MAPI profile by following the steps for the appropriate version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, found below.Start the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services. Important: Restarting certain BlackBerry Enterprise Server services delays email message delivery to BlackBerry smartphones. For more information, see Article 04789. BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 connected to Microsoft Exchange 2013 should follow instructions from Article 33413 when creating the MAPI profile. BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 running in High Availability (HA) pair only follow these steps: Re-create the MAPI profile on the Standby server first, using steps 1 to 8 above.Manually fail over the Primary to the Standby. For more information, see Article 17408.Re-create the MAPI profile on the original Primary server using steps 1 to 8 above.Manually fail back to the original Primary server. Regardless of what operation was intended, this error indicates that the Microsoft® Exchange Server® could not find the requested item such as an email message or calendar appointment. This response code can also be seen for non-messaging related functions, for example starting http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000010212 a BlackBerry Enterprise Server user or looking a user up in the company Global Address List. The key point to remember is this code indicates that Exchange cannot find what is being requested or the Global Catalog Server if the error is being returned with regards to a user.This error code does not necessarily indicate an error, it merely indicates that the desired object (email, user, etc) could not be found in the specified location. It is very important to examine this error within the proper context of what was occurring. If this response code was returned in regards to an email message function, this could be normal.
