However, MAPI can be used to deliver messages from an application such as CTI Navigator Desktop internally in Windows only to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_other/general-mapi-failure-office-2010-windows-8-pro/07237a5d-a8e8-47eb-be52-23dc60e63ec0 one default email program. If you have multiple email programs installed in Windows and sending MLS reports out of CTI Navigator Desktop is encountering a MAPI or unspecified error, one or more email programs may be interfering with MAPI delivering messages internally to your preferred default email program, or Windows no longer associates MAPI with your preferred program. First ensure that the correct email program is set as the default Email Handler for Windows. To set the default http://www.ctimls.com/support/kb/error%20fixes/fix_mapi_error.htm mail handler in Windows 10 or 8.1, right-click on Start > select Control Panel > Default Programs > Set your default programs > click on the appropriate email program in the list > select "Choose defaults for this program" > under MAPI, check "Send Mail" and click Save > click on the appropriate email program in the list (again) > select “Set this program as default”> OK. Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now This issue has been driving me crazy, I've looked at about 30 Google results, but nothing has fixed my problem. This error displays when sending an attachment via Word using the mapi error File > Save & Send > Send as Attachment, or any other ways of doing the same thing (e.g. "Email" in quick access toolbar). However, and this is important, it doesn't happen all the time. It's fine for a while then it suddenly starts happening. A restart of the computer fixes it temporarily, then it starts happening again. This is the one thing that differentiates my issue with everything I've found via Googling. This is mapi error outlook only one user out of about 100 that is experiencing this. I've recreated Windows profile, and even swapped their computer but the issue still remains. I've tried: - Closing Word and Outlook and reopening - Reinstalling Office - Recreating profile - Setting up user on different computer - Turning off caching of shared folders in Outlook - Moving subfolders out of Inbox in Outlook My last resort, which I haven't got around to yet will be reimaging the computer with the stock Windows image. However since we've swapped the user's computer and he's the only one with the issue, I believe it must be something to do with his profile, whether it be his Outlook mailbox, or something else unique to him. Any ideas and suggestions are most welcome!
