In other mcafee drive encryption words, as soon as you pressed Shift, you would see 20-30 asterisks. You would not see this behavior when using the built in laptop keyboard. McAfee's Resolution #1 = McAfee advised us to upgrade from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3. That upgrade disabled the Shift key, so now there is no Shift key functionality with an external keyboard. Issue # 2 = Black/Blank Screen. Reported to McAfee = Friday 02/21/2014 Two techs were issued Dell 7440's after 1 to 2 days of usage, after logging into PBA, machine boots to a black screen, windows never loads, hard drive activity light strobes. Another tech built 2 7440 laptops, both presented black screen. I had him reimage, after reimaging they presented black screen again. McAfee's Resolution #2 = No fix as of yet from McAfee. Issue # 3 = Internal Initialization Error. Reported to McAfee = Friday 02/21/2014 When user's attempt to log into PBA, they are presented with a File Initialization Error. As a work around, you are able to perform an emergency boot using
