Everything works well in authoring mode, but as soon as I try to create a projector and run it, I get a "Handler not defined" error message. The handler is used to query an sqlite database. Creative Wonders/Electronic Arts Slam Dunk Typing. I've played around with the QFixApp tool and cannot get around the following error. A window appears when you start each game with no title in the title bar and the message "Script error: Handler not defined" http://www.verycomputer.com/416_7be71360b531dcfb_1.htm and a little farther down in the window "#FileIO". Occasionally apps have two different error message handler executables to start the game with 16 & 32 in their name, and launching the other one might work. This is an app problem with many apps that use a similar engine, and may be solved in the future. In the meantime your only option is to contact the vendor to see if they have a patch, or purchase a new XP-compatibile version. I have director program, on a PC, that uses FileIO, and runs fine in the director environment.
