Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) You try to run strmqtrc to start a trace for WebSphere MQ (WMQ) and it will not run. You look in /var/mqm/qmgrs/QMgrName/errors and see the AMQ6119. In the /var/mqm/errors you see new FDC files. Comment1 in the FDC ('13 - Permission denied' from open) indicates that WebSphere MQ failed due to an authorization problem. The second most likely cause is that someone deleted some log files that you actually still needed - because the space on the filesystem was getting too big. Regardless, there should be an FDC or FFST file in /var/mqm/errors that will tell you more about why the unexpected error occured, and that can help you figure out how to fix the problem._________________I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
