Search Web flyertalk.com Thread Tools Search this Thread Jan 2, 14, 1:09 pm #1 Charlie Kilo Original Poster Join Date: Oct 2010 Location: Hampshire Programs: BA Gold Posts: 65 Multi-City Booking Problem Hi, I'm having a problem with a multi-city booking for the following in March / expedia April this year: LHR-DXB DXB-SYD SYD-DXB DXB-LHR The booking is for 2x adults and 1 infant. The booking system comes up with an itinerary, on both Qantas and Emirates aircraft, all with Qantas flight numbers. It allows me to put in passenger names and telephone / frequent flyer details. On the next page however I get the following message: "Qantas.com flight search error: We are unable to confirm the fare for the flights you have selected from the airlines we search. Please cancel these segments and choose a different fare or flights and resubmit your confirmation request. (15012 - 126)" Any ideas with this one? I've been trying to book a aus-US trip on the Qantas website for the past few days, and it won't let me book the darn flights! I've tried from work and from home, and get the same message, when you go to the last page, the Payment one, it says it could not confirm my flights and to try again. The trip involves a flight from LAX or SFO to a US city on United, but if the Qantas trip finder lets you find it, you'd imagine you could book it. Has anyone else ever had this kind of trouble? I did a test with a simple Canberra – Sydney flight booking, and it went through to the Give Us Your Money page without issues. I'd use an alternative agency site, but their connections and prices are horrible. Qantas have all the good flights, but they don't want anyone buying them, evidently. Try doing the booking via the "Multi-City" booking tool, and if it still doesn't work, then you'll have to contact Qantas to report the issue and see if they'll book over the phone (and waive the booking fee). But chances of them waiving the booking fee are low....
