installation of SDL MultiTerm 2015 Extract the following error message is displayed:Set-up did not complete. The error is:Set-up has detected a higher version of this product already installed. If you still wish to install this version, you must remove the other version first Explanation The SDL Development team is aware of this problem and is working on a solution. Until a permanent solution is in place, use the workaround described in the Resolution section to install SDL MultiTerm Extract. Resolution Workaround A: Uninstall Service Release 1 for SDL MultiTerm 2015 Close all SDL applications.Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and FeaturesClick View installed updates located on the upper left side of the dialog.Locate the following entries in the list of installed updates: SDL MultiTerm Desktop 2015SDL MultiTerm Core 2015 Select/highlight each entry and uninstall it.Install SDL MultiTerm Extract 2015. NOTE: After SDL MultiTerm Extract is installed, please start SDL MultiTerm 2015 Desktop and install the latest Cumulative Updates and Service Release again.If Workaround A is not solving the installation problem, please go on with Workaround B. Workaround B: Reinstall SDL MultiTerm 2015 from scratch using non Service Release installer. Open Control Panel.Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall a Program.In the list of installed programs locate and uninstall each SDL MultiTerm 2015 components.Download (and install) the SDL MultiTerm 2015 (non SP/SR1) application from here: Download SDL MultiTerm 2015 Build 1494.After the installation was performed, run SDL MultiTerm 2015 Extract installation. So far, the only thing I've been able to conclude, based on trial and error, is that MTE will open and read files of English text, but not files containing (in my case) Russian. As you can imagine, this makes monolingual extraction somewhat difficult, unless I want to work exclusively in English. However, I'm sure I'm missing something, and would appreciate any assistance.
