Please Login to Remove! Downloaded and tried installing AT&T's version of the update to OS 5 on my AT&T BB Bold 9000. The backup and install seemed myq error to go OK until it said "reconnecting to JVM", at which time the connect failed. BB has been in an endless loop of trying to start up, showing the BB logo and a slightly filled progress bar, then rebooting again. Tried all forms of battery pull, loader.exe /nojvm and reinstall software (again, works fine until it tries to connect to JVM and itunes error 310 fails), javaloader to wipe (can't connect because it can't get to the JVM), and phone is still stuck in this endless reboot loop. Spoke to RIM and they said that the software trashed my phone and AT&T should provide me with a free replacement...which AT&T refuses to do. Any thoughts? Are you connecting the BB via a hub? Try wiping with Jl_cmdr and then reload the OS using app loader. See the FAQ for more info on Jl_Cmdr. Use the “inetcpl.cpl” command to open up the Internet Properties dialog box Click Connections tab, and choose to configure your LAN Settings Uncheck the box named “Use a proxy server for your LAN”, and then save the settings (Click OK twice) Turn Off Parental Control Feature This trick works like a charm for many iTunes people. Parental Control feature tends to cause conflicts and results into iTunes error 310.
