Hi, using ICE, mysql error code 1062 I am trying to load data into a Brighthouse table and I get an unknown error. When I check the brighthouse.log file, it also just says "Unkown Error." I am using the command: Code: load data infile '/ebs_raid/test_import.txt' into table tmp_ip_dim fields terminated by ',' optionally enclosed by '"' escaped by ''; for the table CREATE TABLE `tmp_ip_dim` ( `id` bigint(20) DEFAULT NULL, `hash_code` char(40) DEFAULT NULL, `ip_address_original` varchar(40) DEFAULT NULL, `ip_address_as_integer_lower` bigint(20) DEFAULT NULL, `ip_address_as_integer_upper` bigint(20) DEFAULT NULL, `ip6` varchar(40) DEFAULT NULL ) ENGINE=BRIGHTHOUSE DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 and I have attached the sample data i am trying to load. I have no idea where to even begin on this, any help is appreciated. Thanks [12 Feb https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=42780 2009 7:24] Sveta Smirnova Thank you for the feedback. But bugs system is for handling bugs in MySQL code only. Also we don't backport bug fixes. Regarding to this problem we need to know circumstances problem is repeatable with to create test case. Please start with following questions: 1. Do you get error for every database? 2. Which exact output of SHOW FUNCTION STATUS in your case? 3. Is problem repeatable if do local copy, then upload dump of the database used in production? [12 Feb 2009 8:29] rajesh goswami 1. Do you get error for every database? Yes 2. Which exact output of SHOW FUNCTION STATUS in your case? ERROR 1105 (HY000): Unknown error 3. from mysql or with mysqladmin you'll get following error message: ERROR 1105 (HY000): Unknown error There are bugs that might affect like this but usually first thing to do with this http://sqlsewer.blogspot.com/2013/06/mysql-flush-logs-gives-error-1105-hy000.html is check log paths permissions. 1. First check what log directories your MySQL http://serverfault.com/questions/796819/flush-privileges-in-my-sql-gives-hy0000-unknown-error is using: mysql> show global variables like '%log%'; You can also use more specific checks like: This show error log: mysql> show global variables like '%err%'; or for general log: mysql> show global variables like '%general%'; or for slow log: mysql> show global variables like '%slow%'; For example: mysql> show global variables like mysql error '%err%'; +--------------------+----------------------+ | Variable_name | Value | +--------------------+----------------------+ | error_count | 0 | | log_error | /data/mysql/logs/mysqld_error.log | | max_connect_errors | 10 | | max_error_count | 64 | | slave_skip_errors | OFF | +--------------------+----------------------+ 5 rows in set (0.00 sec) 2. After you know log paths check that mysql user (or user that run mysqld if it is other than mysql.) have permissions to write in 5 hy000 unknown those directories (remember to check all log paths you are using). ls -latr /data00/mysql/ drwxr-xr-x 14 mysql mysql 4096 Mar 26 06:46 logs If there is not enough permissions then add them and the error is gone. If permissions are correct then you are probably hitting the bug. Also, the answer you gave above is for Linux and so doubly doesn't apply... –A br Aug 15 at 6:42
