Check warnings (local only) New Topic Advanced Search Error code 1607: Cannot create stored routine . . Check warnings (local only) Posted by: Michal Shafir () Date: November 06, 2009 10:10PM I recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop to Drive B (fresh install, temp dual-boot). After installing the latest version of MySQL Essentials, I'm having trouble creating some stored procedures. I can create them fine on all our remote servers, just not locally. The issue has thus far only occurred on 2 procedures. I get an error when trying to create: Cannot create stored routine `abm_TicketList`. Check warnings SHOW WARNINGS returns nothing. I've tried flushing everything, dump and rebuild. I've lost many valuable hours on this, so any suggestions on how to troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Edited 1 time(s). Whenever I run it though, either on the command line or through PhpMyAdmin, I get the following error: #1607 - Cannot create stored routine `haversine`. Check warnings The problem is that when I run SHOW WARNINGS; I get a 0 row result set. Is this a common problem? How do I view the warnings? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6670565/how-can-i-view-the-error-preventing-me-from-creating-a-stored-procedure (If it's relevant, I'm running MySQL 5.1.37-1ubuntu5.) mysql stored-procedures warnings share|improve this question asked Jul 12 '11 at 20:19 Tom Wright 5,9071246105 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote Don't know if there is any better way. What I have been doing is to create it very simple and incomplete and test at each added bit of functionality. Why don't you post yours? This is also a reason why I'm reluctant to start taking it to bits; I know it works elsewhere, so it's probably my installation of MySQL that's the problem. –Tom Wright Jul 13 '11 at 11:09 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service
