I was using 000webhost until the client had hosting and a domain. Now that the client has their domain and hosting, using FatCow.com, I can not for the life of me, debug my PHP code. I'm not getting any errors. I have a successful DB connection. If you procedurally display data, it works, but when I try to use my original objects, something is breaking and just returns "0:". I have all errors on. On old server where the site worked: PHP Version 5.2.11 MySQL Version: 5.0.81 On new server where I get the "0:": PHP Version 5.2.12 MySQL Version 5.0.32 I've setup a test page to test just the output of the variables with the DB connection. Below is my code: getNew(); $newAr = $new->val(); $get = $prov->getAll($newAr['providerId']); $getAr = $get->val(); $img = $getAr['image']; $name = $getAr['provider']; $desc = $getAr['description']; $zip = $getAr['zip']; $web = $getAr['link']; if($zip==0){ $zip = "Unavailable";

Posted by: Kel Murphy () Date: July 24, 2005 11:14AM This works for windows XP SP2 and MySql Server 4.1: If you are getting an error message saying that MySql cannot start (Error: 0) then you can take the following steps. 1)Click on start->All Programs->MySql Server 4.1->MySql Server Instance Config Wizard. 2)Click next then click on Remove Instance. Then Execute. 3)Now uninstall MySql Server using the Add/Remove Software in the windows http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2739375/php-strange-error-0-possible-object-syntax-problem control panel. 4)After this has been uninstalled YOU MUST MANUALLY DELETE THE FOLDER WHERE IT WAS INSTALLED. In my case it was installed in: C:\Program Files\MySQL. 5)When this folder has been deleted you can reinstall without restarting and this time you will no longer get the error. 6)Be happy! =) Navigate:Previous Message•Next Message Options:Reply•Quote Subject Written By Posted Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL burodigital 10/27/2004 12:54AM Re: Error:0 http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?11,4460,35804 cannot create windows service for MySQL Ritchie W 10/27/2004 07:30AM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Jim Palmer 10/29/2004 08:03PM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Roger Nordquist 02/07/2005 08:47AM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Denny De La Haye 04/22/2005 03:08AM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Jitendra Sakhamuri 08/05/2005 10:14AM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Thrust C. 09/12/2005 01:59PM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Tasin Reza 01/07/2009 03:41PM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL next age 03/03/2009 03:21PM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Elliot Brooks 01/10/2009 03:16PM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL tjc02u 11/08/2004 12:01PM Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Catarina Clemente 04/10/2007 11:47AM Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Rahim Abbas 03/15/2009 08:50PM ULTIMATE SOLUTION Islam Abou El Ata 03/26/2009 06:32PM Re: ULTIMATE SOLUTION mary obatolu 04/28/2009 09:16AM Re: ULTIMATE SOLUTION David Richardson 06/05/2009 08:59AM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL Tim Lloyd 11/02/2004 04:23AM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL michael 11/08/2004 02:14PM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL rudy 11/08/2004 03:23PM Re: Error:0 cannot create windows service for MySQL michael 11/0
