(that's why I have noticed this folder creation so quickly).Either installing .NET Framework through Microsoft update or through downloaded standalone.NETFX2.0 installer creates the same folders and files in D:\ drive not C:\ drive. Is this a bug? Why does .NETFX 2.0 installer create something in D:\ drive? Is it safe to delete? Monday, November 14, 2005 7:07 AM Answers 5 Sign in to vote Hi,Thank you for taking the time to report this problem. So the eventviewer does not know what multi-lingual token substitution to use. Maybe .Net 2.0 is not installed? Anyway, try creating a text file and naming it "net2errorreporting.reg" with these contents: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Application\.NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting] "EventMessageFile"="C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Microsoft Shared\\DW\\DW20.EXE" "TypesSupported"=dword:00000007 Make sure the DW20.exe is

They chew up memory and have to be manually killed. My guess is 2 because I run 2 MVP servers? Anyway I think DW20.EXE is Dr. Watson, the microsoft tool. Is this a .net 2.0 thing, or gbpvr? Anybody know how I can keep these nasty processes from getting started? I guess they prepare the reports for MS. They stop after a short time. I don't know how to uninstall them.
