Monitor an unlimited number of servers with $49/year With the current low prices for servers and the need for processing power, even a small company may end up with quite a few http://www.eventid.net/display-eventid-5000-source-.NET%20Runtime%202.0%20Error%20Reporting-eventno-7334-phase-1.htm of them. If ten years ago it was still common to see an http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21292791 entire company using just one server, these days that's no longer the case. New computers are added to the network with the understanding that they will be taken care of by the admins. Keeping an eye on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming process. Even with 5 minutes per server (to check the .net runtime logs and other parameters), it may take an hour to make sure that everything is ok and no "red lights" are blinking on any of the servers. read more... .NET dotnet Framework ibm.wmq.mqexception exception unhandled runtime error event id 5000 clr20r3 Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) You receive a ".NET Runtime 2.0 Error" while running your .NET WebSphere MQ (WMQ) Client application. Symptom You may also find an Event 5000 from source ".NET Runtime 2.0 Error" with event type 'clr20r3' in the Windows Application Event Log. Cause This is caused by an unhandled exception in your application code. The .NET Framework 2.0+ does not permit unhandled exceptions and if one is thrown, the framework will stop the worker process (w3wp.exe). The actual unhandled exception may or may not be an MQ exception (ibm.wmq.mqexception). Resolving the problem Modify your application source code to handle (catch) all exceptions. You might also be able to enable your application to write the exception stack trace to the Windows Application Event Log. For information on doing this and, as an alternative, how to change the unhandled exception policy back to how it was for .NET Framework 1.1 see: .
