I find sometimes that my wifi drops on my phone. I simply turn off the wifi and use 3G or turn it off and right back on...resetting it. No need to reset the phone. I'm curious if other members network error have the same problem or if it's just my router. It's a Motorola SBG900 too. Go figure. I did test the wifi just to make sure it works so I wouldn't find out 2 months from now after it was too late to exchange it in case I ever DID want to use it. Not sure if its the phone or the network. Nov 19, 2009 #4 Droid Lover Member Joined: Nov 14, 2009 Messages: 12 Likes Received: 0 This just started happening to me too. Maybe this would explain your problem. Maybe there is a data outage in your area. I had to call Verizon and they reset something. I did disable the WiFi, but still got the same result. Once I left the office and was about 1 miles away - I started receiving access again. But that was after I reboot my phone and killed every app that was running. No problems since. That is odd, thougth. When I open Software Update, I get this message: +"A networking error has occurred: unsupported URL (-1002). Make sure you can connect to the Internet, then try again."+beneath which it states: "Software Update can't check for updates because of a network problem."If I click on Network Diagnostics, it checks my network and reports that everything is fine. This happens on wifi, or using ethernet at home and office. My IT person at work can't even figure it out, and I have searched for unsupported URL (-1002) online and cannot find a single instance.
