I'm using GNS3 1.2. in combination with windows 7 When i open you're projects, i cannot get to the console of the routers. When i put a router of my own in the same topology, i can open the console to that router, but still not to yours… ;( Any idea why? The exact error in the putty window bar is: 127.0.0.1:2000 (Jack) - Network error: Connection refused! - (inactive) - [Restart in 5s] Hope you have a nice solution, cause I cant find it on gns3 forum ;( November 26, 2014 at 17:48 #24418 Mr.KdParticipant hi can u change the port number and check Preference >> GNS3 Server >> General >> Port number. restart the gns3 check and revert us. thanks November 26, 2014 at 18:57 #24419 blergParticipant Hi, Mr.Kd, I've change the port number of the gns3server, which is slighlty odd imho, but unfortunatly; it didnt resolved my problem After restarting GNS3 i still couldn't open up a console ;( November 27, 2014 at 07:10 #24422 Mr.KdParticipant hi why dont you try with the latest release, GNS3 V1.2 if you are interested. with the latest release there are so many new features they added. I ask you to change the port just want to make sure if the port is not used by other application. let me know your point of view. thanks November 27, 2014 at 11:30 #24426 blergParticipant I have been using tha

Solved Error when running ASA in GNS3 Posted on 2012-11-21 Cisco Routers Switches / Hubs 1 Verified Solution 9 Comments 4,670 Views Last Modified: 2012-11-22 Hi Experts, I am configuring ASA in GNS3, I downloaded the 2 files from a website: asa802-k8.initrd.gz and asa802-k8.Kernel, configure the QUEMU-ASA and when stating and running the console I can not see anything but only saying: 127.0.0.1:3005(ASA1)Network error: Connection refused!-(inactive)-(Restart in 4). and continues restarting but that's it. Please advise how to make it work. Thanks 0 Question by:chenzovicc Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 35 Active today Best Solution byErnie Beek Ah, ok :) 804 should not work I'm afraid. But have a look at: http://www.xerunetworks.com/2012/02/cisco-asa-84-on-gns3/ for setting up 84.
