My setup includes a HR34 w/ Whole Home DVR, DECCA connected to router, and two H25s. My questions are: 1. My HR34 is extremely slow. It takes ~5 seconds for the guide to show up after pressing the guide button. Is this normal? Will it get better over time? 2. The H25 units cannot initiate an OnDemand download. Do only DVR units have this capability? 3. What is "Network Services" used for in the Network Setup? Yesterday, it appeared to be working as both the HR34 and H25s had ports assigned for Network Servies, but this morning they do not, and I get a 301 error when I try to use the automatic setup of Network Services. 4. How long does it take for Apps to be available on the H25s? Does the HR34 supports Apps?

(Ext. 301)" TV Apps menu/dock won't open. UDP port 1701/LT2P needs to be opened on the router. Router firewall is blocking UDP port 1701/LT2P. TV Apps certificate is still authorizing network services (authorization could take up to 1 hour, but usually within 20 minutes is normal) Advise the customer: There's nothing wrong with the receiver or the DIRECTV service. The issue is with their router. The customer needs to: Reference the router manual or manufacturer. Look or ask directv network services for help in: Setting the router firewall settings. Opening port UDP 1701/LT2P. Newer routers may not have this issue. Run"Network Setup"and select "Restore Defaults." Select "Connect Now." Verify code 87 or 88 (receiver isconnected to the internet.)
