Interesting note...I pulled the positive battery cable to do some fuse checks, and when I put it back on about 20 minutes later, everything was almost ( repeat almost ) back to normal. Now only the airbag light stays on during driving, the passenger airbag "off" light wont come on when it's switched off, and the stereo seems to power up for a minute or two every now and then go completely dead. The guy I got the truck from said he recently pulled the stereo to replace it, but put it back when he decided to sell the truck. Could he have screwed something up in that process??? I put down that checklist because sometimes there is electromagnetic interference (e.g. from an aftermarket stereo, a hipo cb, etc.) with a certain bandwidth that will cause the Central Timer Module to malfunction. The CTM send the signals to the dash pod unit via the CCD bus that are needed for the gauges to operate. It sounds like the problem may still be stereo related. Gauges are inoperative. No BUS message displayed on odometer. System: Body/Chassis Electrical, Emissions/PCM/Fuel, Engine Electrical Codes: N/A Problem 1 of 6: The 5v power supply from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is shorted due to a shorted Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor. Test & Fix: If the 5v power supply circuit is shorted to ground, the CCD bus is unable to transmit messages and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) appears to be "dead". The PCM is not damaged when the 5v power supply gets shorted to ground, but does need to be reset by turning the key off for 10 second after the short is removed. Using a DVOM or labscope, measure the voltage on the 5v reference wire at the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) or Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. If 5v is not pr
