I arrived at work yesterday without any issues. When I went o leave in the afternoon I have no Gauges (Gas, Battery, Oil Pres) and I do not hear the Fuel Pump engage). Lights, windows, radio all work. Although eh engine turns over, it will not fire and start. After about 20-30 seconds the odometer reads “NO BUS”. I have read a lot about cleaning the gauge cluster connection and a little about replacing the Crank Sensor. I plan on removing the gauge cluster this afternoon to clean the connection to see if that works. If not, I guess it is on from there. I would like to avoid taking it to the shop as I know they will charge an arm and leg or electrical work. Any advice is greatly appreciated! ~C Join CherokeeForum.com Today - It's Totally Free! The jeep starts normally but when I turn the ignition on, the dash voltage meter never moves, (it stays below 9), about 15 seconds after starting the engine. the yellow engine light comes on, & in the digital odometer window, it changes from the current milage to; "no buS". radio and everything else electrical works fine, and the engine idles normally, & it drives normally. thanks for any help. 05-29-2010, 08:29 PM #2 MR.CLIFFORD WINNAR!!!!!!
