up IE8 - window.open() - “No such interface supported” up vote 7 down vote favorite 4 When I call window.open() from JavaScript, I get the error dialog with the message "Line: xxx Error: No such interface supported" Google leads me to websites referring as far back as IE4 saying that I need to run regsrvr32 on several DLLs. Make sure that "shdocvw.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.) javascript internet-explorer-8 share|improve this question edited Jun 1 '09 at 17:32 asked Jun 1 '09 at 16:33 Chloraphil 1,38872740 1 Can you show the exact line that gives you this error? –Török Gábor Jun 1 '09 at 16:41 1 Works fine for me in IE8 (?) –Shoban Jun 1 '09 at 17:00 add a comment| 4 Answers 4 active oldest votes up vote 4 down vote Well, I don't think there is a better solution.
